"Well, for the moment," he says. "We don't know how long we're stuck here," he adds. And it was quite the adjustment, but he got used to it, he supposes. He's not sure Gansey wants to hear about all that.

"Not more than it is to be here, I think," he answers diplomatically. "But at least I've already done it once." That means he's hoping that he can adjust quickly, and that he's got plenty of tips for everyone else.
